IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Good Morning Micki,
This card brought me to tears. I am thanking and praising our Sweet Lord for His precious love and for His most Blessed Mother. Our Mother longs to bring us to her Son.
Once again Micki reading the helps lift our heart being reminded how much Our Mother loves and prays for us.
Love & hugs

Ally--it is pastel, which is artistic chalk...that is the medium I use in my artwork and the results can be striking.

Absolutely beautiful!!
How true Micki. Jesus listens to the prayers of his Mother and he sees her tears.
Prayerflowers - I'm so glad your heart was "lifted." Yes, She is something!
Ally - Yes, some people truly are talented. I feel blessed just to appreciate their talent. As stated earlier, I am no artist. But I love what they can do.
Diane S. - I am SHOCKED. What a treat to learn that you are an artist too. Such a fun fact to learn about you. Thank you for passing along your artistic knowledge.
wife, mother and so much more - How nice to have you leave a first time comment here. You are one busy mom.
Ed - Just reading those words "her tears" make me sad. You are so right.
