*Second Station of the Cross.......March 30

Jesus Is Made To Bear The Cross

Jesus said "Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me,
cannot be my disciple.

My Jesus, this Cross should be mine,
not Thine,
my sins crucified Thee.

Micki, back in September when I started up my current blog, encouraged so by you, you left the message, "You've mentioned something about losing everything....I hope sometime you might share with us how the Lord helped you through that experience." I've finally put together the central story of that loss, parts of which were first penned as comments in your blog last year. Anyway, if you're interested still, it's my most current post, called: one wet and unexpected 'desert.'

How true the quote you selected for today from the point of view of our guilt: "...this Cross should be mine, not Thine, my sins crucified Thee." But! :) The goodness was for us and we must relinquish our guilt for the redeemed status to take its hold on us and effect its full potential in us.

Good week full of blessings to you and all friends here at your blog. :)

Ahhh Micki, and so it begins! The Stations! I am looking forward to the days and cards ahead!
My Protestant church did not every year have the stations of the cross on Friday night and I have looked forward to it this year at our Parish. Unfortunately, we keep having our plans interrupted. Next year will be ever so sweet as it will be the leading up to for me, the Eucharist! My heart can hardly hold in the excitement and anticipation for that day!
Oh Patience!! :)
You have such a sweet spirit! You shine across the miles and over the net!
Be blessed,
Your sister in Christ,
Ally

aspiring f.o.o.L. - I think you know how I felt when reading your post today. You have words that just come flying out of your heart. How you did it all is proof of His grace. I'm in awe of the outcome.

Ally - You are a blessing to us...someone who knows the fruits of the Passion of Christ.
I'm excited for you also to receive our Lord. Patience is a virtue. It will make it so much more special. I wish more of us would look forward to our reception of Him (be in daily or weekly) with more excitement. You will be my model.

Prayerflowers - I saw your wonderful Passion cards today and thought what a wonderful writing you added to them. Just so special. Thank you.

Aspiring f.o.o.L. - Don't let your "speechlesness" last but a few seconds. You have too much to share :-)
