St. Ignatius of Loyola..........July 31

Prayer of St. Ignatius

Take, Lord, and receive all my liberty, my memory, my understanding and my entire will, all that I have and possess. Thou hast given all to me. To Thee, O Lord, I return it. All is Thine, dispose of it wholly according to Thy will. Give me Thy love and Thy grace, for this is sufficient for me.

Interesting. One of the cards you posted says "commemorating the 500th anniversary of his birth - July 31, 1491" but this is actually the day he died. It is unclear what day he was born on (probably in October).

Thanks for the post!

S. Ignatius, ora pro nobis!

I love those words of St. Ignatius; in fact, I had it written in my favorite bible. How beautiful is that prayer! I especially like the part that says 'take my will.'

Dearest Micki,
How good it is to be here! Love you, dear lady!
Easter:-)
