Carry My Cross, Thursday of the Fifth Week of Lent

Jesus fell three times under the weight of my sins on His cross.
May I be
"resigned to the will of my God, and carry my cross cheerfully in company with Jesus, until my last breath. "

Words partially taken from THROUGH THE CROSS TO VICTORY (The Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary)

What a tender portrayal and I love the quote!
It is difficult to embrace the Cross but the only way, nevertheless.

Hello there Dearest Micki,

How wonderful it is to be here!

I love that picture of the little boy holding the Cross. I love that he loves holding it, that he he loves what comes with it, and the smile in his face which encourages me because this boy is telling me, "I fear nothing because you see, Jesus who did it all, is right behind me."

Oh Micki, simply beautiful!

Much love,
Easter:-)

D.S. - Yes, "it is difficult to embrace the Cross." We can only look to Him as our model.

Easter - You make me see things I hadn't noticed. You too encourage.

Micki, I'm late in here again, but I just had to post! Jesus, pouring His tender love and compassion on His Father's children: I just love it. Thank you.
Best Regards, Lynneda
