This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Very Beautiful~Thanks~JMJ~Lisa S.
A really "heavenly" depiction of a soul receiving the bread of angels, that is Jesus! The text is deeply touching to the human spirit! As Roman Catholics we are so Blessed to have such Holy People to count as "friends" in Heaven interceding for us! A Blessed Sunday to all of your visitors Micki, and to you and yours as well. John K.
Thank you for the lovely card. The quote should always be in my mind when I somtetimes feel there is an obstacle to go to daily Mass!

Friends,
This is a translation of the French words on the card:
[At the top:]
"The Bread of Angels"
(These words are followed by several words that I cannot read.)
[At the bottom:]
"This is the Bread that the Lord ... "
"This is the Bread that has descended from Heaven ... "
(Each of the above lines is followed by some words that I cannot read.)
