Pour into my soul the strength and
life of your flesh and blood, that she
may bloom into a paradise of duty
and virtue.

I have to say I dont like this card, its not my style of art at all, not up to the usual standard, but a very prayerful and profound message. I was listening to the BBC radio the other day a discussuion about going to church and a man who was described as a former Catholic was bemoaning his Parish Priests lack of sympathy for what I supose was meant to be "jazzing up" Mass into a more entertaining form.
What a profound thing to dwell on that thought is. Mass is so much more than a theatrical performance to enjoy!
We may not like Fathers way of saying it, but its not his style we should be concentrating on. its the moment of God,embracing physically us, his people, with all our petty likes and dislikes.
I may not like the way the church is painted, I may not like the altar cloth or think the music is badly played but that is not what I am there for. God forgive me for my petty personal preferences and let me worship you freely and with pure love. Amen
