Now I lay me down to sleep,

I pray the Lord my soul to keep;

If I should die before I wake

I pray the Lord my soul to take.

Angels watch me through the night,

And wake me with the morning light.

This is not a holy card but a postcard.

It is special to me because I had a dog

as a child that looks just like this one.
