*What is Faith?..........April 23

"Faith is to believe what you do not see;
the reward of this faith

is to see what you believe."

St. Augustine

Friends:

Here is the meaning of the card's French words ...

[Around the ciborium:]
"Jesus in the Tabernacle ... Consolation for All"

[At the bottom:]
"Jesus Christ is the God of all consolation."

The card gives a scriptural citation that appears to be "Corint. 1:2," but this would be a mistake, since there are two letters to the Corinthians. The correction citation is this: "2 Corinthians 1:3".

What a wonderful surprise to find such a beautiful piece of art, and the text also equally beautiful at the end of the day! I would also like to add a Big Texas Thank You to John who always translates the words from the cards you post. Their words add to the beauty of this site! A blessed evening to all your visitors!
