All things both great and small,
For the dear God who loveth us,
He made and loveth all."

IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

What a beautiful and touching card with today's posting. I love the work of this artist, she always seems to depict the innocence and simplicity of her subjects. John K.
John K. - Happy to see you here again. I agree. I think this artist has a real way to bring peace through her talent.
I am 80 years old. My mother put this picture in my room when I was very young. I still have it. So innocent, so peaceful.

Marion,
Thank you for sharing your experience with having this picture in your room since you were a child. I agree that it is such an innocent picture. I too, love it. Thank you for the comment.
