Keep HIM company this Lent
"When you awake in the night,
transport yourself quickly
IN SPIRIT
before the Tabernacle,
saying: Behold, my God,
I come to adore You,
to praise, thank, and love you,
and to keep your company
with all the Angels."

Dearest Micki,
What a powerful picture and quote. The Eucharist is our saving grace, our spiritual food...God bless you!
Love,
Prayerflowers
I like these occasional black and whites.
Greetings Micki! Thank you for posting yet another "Treasure" for all of us to enjoy! I got chills as I read the text for today also, very moving and I am going to try to incorporate this beautiful prayer into my daily devotions. I have insominia often and this text will help me to do just what it says with God's Grace! A blessed evening to all of your visitors and to you as well. John K.
Friends,
Sorry, but I overlooked the words on this card yesterday.
Here is the meaning of the French words:
(At the top:)
"The meeting-place of reverent souls"
(At the bottom:)
"Come to me, all you who toil and collapse under the burden of your sorrows, and I will give you relief!"
John
Prayerflowers - Yes, a grace and food we crave. Blessings.
Eric - Thank you, me too.
John K. - I know what you mean about "insominia"...I think it's also a good idea to put this into practice. Hope you continue to remember this when needed.
John - A big thank you again for your added help with my cards.
A Blessed Lenten season to you - this is a wonderful thing to remember - I rarely sleep a night through and I pray when I wake but I never thought to imagine myself before a Tabernacle - I love it.
St. Blog - Glad this gave you further inspiration for those non-sleeping moments. Say one for me too. Thank you.
