*Feast of Our Lady of Fatima........... May 13

"It is necessary that they amend their lives
and ask pardon for their sins.
They must not offend Our Lord anymore,
for He is already too grievously offended
by the sins of men."

Words spoken by Our Lady of Fatima

I was interested in Our Lady of Fatima even when I was not a Christian. What impressed me most was that people who came to Fatima to scoff, and even people who were not at the Fatima site, witnessed the Miracle of the Sun.

So one cannot logically claim that the witnesses of Fatima were all religiously gullible people who created their own 'miracle' through some sort of group hypnosis.

Micki, I have been away from a computer and so I have spent the morning catching up! Such Treasures!
Love the first communion cards! I will be there in a year! :)

Do you continue to collect cards? Are there more out there that you do not have? Do you know how many you have?
Again, thank you for sharing with us..You're a sweetie!

Blessings,
Ally :)

I was fascinated by Our Lady of Fatima when I was a kid, too -- in fact, I just wrote about that on my blog.

I haven't been to Fatima, but my hairstylist is Portuguese, and she speaks of the apparition site with such love.

Thank you for the lovely image!

Nissa Annakindt - Thank you for being a first time commenter here. I love the point you made about not all being gullible regarding apparition sites. Thanks.

Ally - You make me smile thinking if there are other cards out there to collect. ABSOLUTELY. The Europeans are really starting to get into collecting also.
Glad to have you back again.

Ginny - Thanks for sharing about your hairdresser sharing her love for Fatima. I wish more people were not shy about sharing their love for beliefs we Catholics have. I think even the lack of nuns teaching in schools adds to the lack of knowledge for many children.

Diane S. - Your welcome. My pleasure to share. We are all so blessed to have her for our spiritual mother.

Kathy - Thanks for stopping by. Glad you enjoy.

Jet - And also to you. Thanks.
