IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

I love the art of Sr. Nealis ... it's so lovely and gentle.
Happy Memorial Day!

Blessings to you!

Ginny - Hope your holiday was a good one. I agree with you abou Sr. Nealis...such a talentl. "Gentle" is a great word.
Ally - I'm sure that and a prayer was Sr. Nealis' goal. Thanks for your comment.
I know this is part of your collection, but could you tell me if it's still possible to purchase this holy card? It is beautiful.
Anonymous - Thank you for your kind words. This blog showcased my own personal holy card collection and none of the cards were ever for sale. Thanks for the compliment though.
Since you are a collector, I know you would never part with with this card--and can understand why! My earlier question wasn't clear: I was trying to ask if you know if this card is still being printed and know of any retailer who might carry it. Or were just fortunate enough to find it!
