“I will never abandon you, my child. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

John - Not the same series but the subject matter is connected isn't it? Thanks.
Diane - Always appreciate your stopping and leaving a word or two. Thank you.
I think this Feast Day is in June?
Anonymous - This is really weird. One Catholic calendar I have says May 30th is the Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Then I checked my local church calendar and it says June 20th is the Feast date. So, you are right, it is in June. Maybe I'll just take the title word "Feast of" off. Hope everyone agrees. Thanks for the correction.
I only realized because I visit a nun in a nearby nursing home. I always move her bookmarks in her prayer book because she has weak hands. In there by chance I noticed it said the Feast of the Immaculate Conception is celebrated on "The first Saturday after the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost." But no worries—I'm sure the Blessed Mother is happy for an extra day of celebration and prayers in her name!
