*Courage..........December 20

Mary's courage is one of love....in just five days She courageously gives us Him.

"Courage does not always roar.
Sometimes it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
I will try again tomorrow."

French Translation:
"O Jesus, You gave Yourself completely to me.
I give myself to You without reserve and forever!"

Friends,

Here is a translation of the French words under this pleasant painting by Etienne Azambre:

"O Jesus, You gave Yourself completely to me. I give myself to You without reserve and forever!"

How beautiful the words are Micki.
For most of us we will all have to try again tomorrow. But that's Ok
When we are trying then Jesus and Mary are with us.

the card and text posted today are beautiful and inspirational! I really like the comment left by Ed, when he said; "for most of us we will have to try again tomorrow. But that's Ok." That filled me with Hope I never thought of or felt. Thank you! May we learn thru the Grace given us to surrender ourselves into the arms of Love that is Jesus Himself!! We often compromise with the Lord and what we are willing to give Him because it comes at a cost but what doesn't? Sweet Child Jesus shower your graces upon your children here in exile, that we may give you our all without counting the cost. We have an eternity to enjoy the consolations of Heaven! A blessed Weekend to all! John K.

This is a beautiful example of a handmade card where an image is glued to parchment and the lettering is done in calligraphy, probably with an old-fashioned quill pen.

It's such a nice image for this time of year because we tend to focus on Jesus' coming, rather than on Mary's "yes" and the unknowns which that represented for her. What an example of perfect trust in God.

Thank you for giving us these beautiful images and inspiring thoughts.

Thank you all for your comments. It's always a pleasure to read what you all have to say.

Ft. Wayne, IN recently had an enormous ice storm which left us with no electricity, no water, no heat, and no fun. We are back to normal but I can't say that I am yet :-)

That would make a great Christmas card.

Athanasius contra mundum - Sounds like a good idea. If you make any, send one to me. Thanks.
