St. Joseph and the Crying Jesus..........October 6

“Some Saints are privileged to extend to us
their patronage with particular efficacy in certain needs, but not in others;
but our holy patron St. Joseph
has the power to assist us in all cases,
in every necessity,
in every undertaking.”

St. Thomas Aquinas

This is my second most favorite picture of St. Joseph. What a joy to open your site and see my St. Joseph comforting the little crying Jesus. I just love it.
Heart of Jesus, I adore Thee
Heart of Mary, I implore thee
Heart of Joseph, meek and just,
In these Three Hearts, I place my Trust!(my most favorite prayer!)
In the Three Most Loving Hearts.
Have a Blessed Day!

lovestjoseph - OK...so what is your first favorite?
I love your posted prayer. May I use it on a future post? It's a fantastic prayer, even though it's easier said than done ("I place my Trust"

Love those words of St. Thomas Aquinas!

Good morning, dear Micki. It is 7am in my part of the world. :-) Thought I'd check to see what you have for us. :-)

I believe St. Joseph exemplifies the type of father that our God the Father wants to project to us: that He is loving, warm, compassionate and generous. We can come to St. Joseph for any type of help just as much as we can come to the Father for any type of help.

Love to you, Micki!

I was wondering if you know who the artist is of this image. I first saw this image a couple of weeks ago, and I love how beautiful it is, and would love to get a copy of it. Please let me know! Thank you.

Diana - It doesn't say on the card but I've always believed it to be a Bosseron Chambers print. This particular holy card was issued for a local hospital and was issued in the 1940s.
