Mary, Mother of God.....January 1

There is a terrible hunger for love.
We all experience that in our lives -
the pain,
the loneliness.
We must have the courage to recognize it.
The poor you may have right in your own family.
Find them.
Love them.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta

I would like to take this space to wish everyone who stops by a very holy and blessed New Year. I'm blessed with such wonderful visitors who are so open to share their thoughts and comments. Thank you all.

Let us all pray for our country and that with God's blessings we can turn it around to once again be a country founded under God's power and love and dedicated to our Blessed Virgin, Mary our Mother. Let us continue to live in the gifts we have been given, Faith, Hope and Charity.

Dear Followers of the blog. I am forced to cancel any printing options of my cards due to people adding copies to Public Domain where anyone can copy the card. As you know, my cards are from my personal collection and are for use for individual inspiration and motivation. I don't want those who want to use the image for themselves to miss using the card, so in the future, please email me (holycards(at) and give me the date of the posted card that you want. I will email you the file image for your use. Thank you for understanding. You can still highlight the card/page and print on your computer.

Excellent plan for 2010! Provided by Mother Teresa and presented by Micki! I will tend to the poor along the street who are begging! In each I will see the face of Jesus. The holy picture is lovely. A blessed New Year to all!

Thank you for this beautiful posting by Mother Teresa of Calcutta! She never ceases to inspire and lift up my soul, even if it is only for a brief few seconds. I am grateful for them.

As we all begin the New Year, may Our Dear Lord and His Sweet Mother shower us under the Banner of Love! John K.
