Hi, Micki.

I have especially attracted to pictures of the Epiphany. I had never seen this one before, and I am raving about its bright colors. I also like seeing humble St. Joseph in the background.

Yesterday, you told us about one of the saints of the day (your special patron for the year), St. Genevieve, heroine of Paris. On today's list of saints, I noticed another one who could be an extra patron for you:

St. Genevieve Torres Morales of Almenara -- Genoveva in Spanish --was an orphan at age 8 and lost a leg to amputation at age 13. Nevertheless, she founded and led the Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and of the Holy Angels. She died at the age of 86 in 1956. Pope John Paul II beatified her in 1995 and canonized her in 2003.

Happy Epiphany (in some nations) today. In other parts of the world (including Vatican City), the Solemnity is celebrated each year on January 6.

Prayerflowers - All for HIS glory. I'm sorry to be responding a few days behind schedule. My angel is flying over to give you a hug. As the song says "Can you feel the love?"

John - How wonderful to learn about another St. Genevieve. You are always responsible for adding so much good information for all of us here. A big "THANK YOU" is always here waiting for you.

Ed - I see your name and think of Fr. Ed and brings a smile to my face. I also see your name and think of Our Lady. Gee, I wonder why?
