"Charity may be a very short word,
but with its tremendous meaning of pure love,
it sums up man's entire relation to God
and to his neighbor."

IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Hi Micki!
Another beauty! Is this young Jesus with Mother Mary watching in the background?
Have a blessed week!
:)Ally
This is such a cute holy card! The text that accompanies it are words that should leave a deep imprint on one's soul. We live in a time when many forget the Lord's command to help those who are in need of Christian Charity. Let us never forget the abundant blessings that the Good Lord bestows upon all of us and to Thank Him and to be the instruments of His love to a hurting world!! May Jesus be Praised and Adored Everywhere!!! Thank you Micki for your wonderful Apostolate that you so generously provied each day. John K.
Wonderful!
Diane - And you are my "treasure" for all your kind words and friendship.
Ally - Yes, I believe that is who the artist was portraying. It's so comforting to see Mary as a mother doing mothering things. :-)
John K - Your reminder to put charity into action is very appropriate. Thanks.
Jacki - Good to see you here again.
