Jesus Meets the Women on the Way to Calvary, Monday of the Fourth Week of Lent

The daughters of Jerusalem weep
at the sight of His suffering.
May I weep tears of compassion for You,
and tears of sorrow for my sins,
which caused Your pains.

Again, marvellous imagery and attention to detail, Micki - perhaps that's how these artists are so able to infuse the depth and expression of feeling they do into their lovely pictures? Many Thanks to you,
Best Regards, Lynneda

Jackie - Blessings to you.

Lynneda - All I can say is thank you to the artists who give us these images to reflect upon.

I should never complain about being too busy and ought to learn from this example of Jesus - even as He carried the cross to His death, he stopped to minister to the women. He was not "too busy" even amidst His torture

Sanctus Belle - I agree with you, it's a shame that I too am usually "too busy."
