Come to the Tabernacle..........April 16

"Jesus knows how to comfort us.
So when you are desolate,
leave creatures behind.
Come to the tabernacle,
and you will always find strength and consolation."

"Jesus knows how to comfort us..." Indeed, Micki. Thank you. To your quote I add: even when you're NOT desolate, leave everything and every creature behind then, too, and go to the tabernacle. EVERYthing we face is just what we need for growth in spirit of sacrifice, of gratitude, of charity and of forgiveness. Our growth toward our Father. God be with you and each of your visitors today.

Friend of Our Lord --You truly know the way to Jesus--ever being in His Will, through the sorrows and the joys!! Jesus is always waiting for us to visit in Eucharistic Adoration--our beloved Holy Father has asked for Eucharistic Adoration in every parish in the world! It will be the means that will heal the world if only all will do it!

p.s. Afterthought: to elaborate: a spirit of sacrifice, of gratitude, of charity and of forgiveness, all free us more and more from evil, and help us see with His perfect clarity -- allowing Him to transform whatever it is we face, and allowing Him to show us His transformations. Therein, too, are (great) strength and (great) consolation. As Micki quoted: "Jesus knows how to comfort us..." Sorry I'm so long-winded!

FOOL - I think this might be your first comment??? Welcome! I think I remember a song about "being a fool for Jesus"...
You bring a great point...we can always go to the tabernacle. Thank you for leaving us some new point to contemplate.

Diane - I love, love, love my holy hour time. We must pray that more come to know our Lord better through this time.

FOOL (FriendOfOurLord),
What a wonderful comment! Only one who has experienced the joy of visits to the tabernacle can truly understand those words. I have profound experiences of healing, joy and peace in the Blessed Sacrament. I know you know what I mean. Our sweet Jesus started calling me to do visits when I was 6 years old. I didn't know then that that part of me was what would save me from a horrific incident in my childhood. It is my desire and prayer that many souls will be drawn to Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for what joy awaits all of us there!

Thank you FOOL, Micki and Diane S.!

Easter - It touches my heart to read what you shared about your personal experience with your visits of Adoration. Oh how I wish more people would hear the call of their Good Shepherd to come into the fold of those who receive blessings and graces for spending time with Him. He waits so patiently and calls so softly.
