I Wonder..........July 9

"It is no use walking
anywhere to preach
unless our walking is our preaching."

  1. Micki I just love this holy card, I have never seen one like it before. It is a "real gem." Being a Chritian Catholic is a decision I must make everyday when I awake. Will I serve the Lord today or my own selfish desires? Our souls are like gardens, we must tend to them everyday so that our conduct may be more Christ like. Thus unbelievers etc. will see "something" within us that will by God's grace draw them into a relationship with the BEST FRIEND one can have. I have always said, "it is difficult to lead a holy life, because society always has you under the microscope of your actions." Thinking to themselves that Christians shouldn't get mad that we are in a Perpetual state of Happiness. So we must be extra careful so that we are not the cause of someone not having faith or loosing it. We all need to remember we are all God's children precious and loved by Him. Lord help us to remove all false pride from ourselves and be servants to one another, speaking the truth in love and gentleness as Jesus did so many years ago. Let us all pray for the conversion fo sinners as Our Lady at Fatima requested. Let us not be ashamed or afraid of sharing the Joy of Joys that is Jesus!!! A blessed day to you dear Micki and all who visit this "anoited site" of God's love and inspriation!!! John K.

  3. I'm smiling...

John K, be careful, Micki will win you over :) !

She is the one who planted the idea of having a blog in my head, and then gently and pursuasively brought it up now and again. The idea finally stuck and, yup, she won me over. Being relatively new at using internet, the idea hadn't and may never have occurred to me otherwise. Lack of skill.

Anyway, in your case, I agree with Micki, John. Sheerly based on your remarks here and at Kay's I know you're a veritable fountain of prayer as it happens to relate to any topic at hand; and of spontaneous expertise of our faith heritage and of living our faith; and such openness and warmth and kindness. All are offerings so sorely needed anywhere you look.

If and when you do... I'll be one of the ones who depends on you, on visiting your site :) ! For now, I'll just continue reading your thoughts here and at Kay's.

God bless you both... Micki... and John K.

  4. Dear sweet Aspiring f.o.o.L -
And may I say.......I have never regretted encouraging you. It doesn't take long to see the beauty of your words and love for our Lord. I'm not good with words...but you sure are and I pray you will always keep adding to the love you encourage with others.
