*Feast of St. Francis de Sales.......January 24

"Do not fear what may happen tomorrow. The same loving Father who cares for you today will care for you tomorrow and every day. Either He will shield you from suffering or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it. Be at peace then, and put aside all anxious thoughts and fearful imaginings. Trust in the Giver of all good gifts."

  2. My Husband's favorite Saint! Please whisper a little prayer for my Fred by invoking the relic of St. Francis de Sales - that would be much appreciated! God Bless you, Micki!

  3. Amen to that Micki.
What is there to fear. If God is for us,then who is agains't us.

  4. A text that continues to inspire me, from the first time I read it on a holy card. Thank you for sharing this "gift" with the rest of us so that we too learn to trust our Heavenly Father in every circumstance! Our Heavenly Father continually loves us and wants us to be with Him in Heaven one day! A blessed weekend to all! John K.

  5. John - Yes and I touched it and asked Him to pray for you all.

Adrienne - Be assured that I asked St. Frances de Sales, while touching my little relic piece to be especially attentive to what your sweet husbands needs or wants. Prayed, as always, in HIS name.

Ed - Those are such comforting words. "Be not afraid."

John K - Always happy to receive your blessings. As you said, those words are truly said for inspiration. We just have to apply.

  6. There are so many great saints (ha all saints are great). I have so many favorites. I ust ordered a used copy of the Introduction to the Devout Life. We are homeschooling our oldest and I want to teach her about the saints and what they wrote.

God bless you and thanks again for the beautiful holy cards.

  7. Paul - You have my sincerest prayers for your involvement with "home schooling". Your children will be so blessed to learn so many wonderful things through your devoted teaching.
I'm always so pleased when the young learn about the saints. They have so few heros that they know about, in today's world.

Thank you for your very kind words.
