I come to thee with many graces.
Where are you to receive them?
IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

I so often think what it would have been like to live at the time Christ was born or walked the earth! Would I have opened the door and made room for Mary and Joseph when they were looking for a place for Mary to give birth? Your post provides me with today's meditation! And the picture is lovely! Thank you and God bless you!
What a beautiful holy card! Thankyou, Micki!
Today is the feast of the Holy Innocents. a perfect card to go with it.
snflwr - Welcome back to your home. It's fun to go off visiting but always a joy to come back home. You are welcome and I'm so glad to hear you start your day here...next time please bring a cup of coffee to share (or tea if you prefer).
Mary Lou - Thank you for sharing your meditation thought. It's good food for all of us. I appreciate your thoughts.
Anonymous - So glad you enjoy it...I am partial to what looks like jewels at the top of the card....nothing too good for Him.
Gardenia - Yes, and such a sad thought when thinking of those precious children...to die for Jesus makes them all martyrs and God surely welcomed them with open arms...even though heaven was "officially opened." He truly took special care of them.
Gardenia - Make that heaven wasn't officially opened :-)
