Jesus, help us to follow the example
of your Holy Family.
May Mary and Joseph be near us
at the hour of death,
and that through You may we be found worthy to be received into our everlasting home.
Jesus, Mary and Joseph,
unite our families
in your love.
A Blessed & Holy Family Feast Day, Micki! Thank you again for all of your beautiful Holy Cards. The Holy Family is the best example for everyone, in every vocation. God Bless You.
ReplyDeletelovely card. is that John the Baptist kneeling next to the Christ child? and the other adult with a halo? is that an angel, do you know Micki?
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful holy card for this Feast of the Holy Family! My guess, Gardenia, would be on the adult with the halo--Elizabeth, the mother of St. John the Baptist?
ReplyDeleteDiane S.
The prayer, the picture, the Feast day, beautiful in so many ways!
ReplyDeleteGod bless you, Micki. God bless your Christmas and new year...
ReplyDeletethank you anonymous. I should've thought of Elizabeth. it makes sense. (yes, micki I try to come back at the end of the day to see others' comments!)
ReplyDeleteAdrienne - Blessings to you and yours. What's not to admire about our beautiful Holy Family. I pray they can help all the families out there struggling. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteGardenia - Good question and I'm glad someone answered before I could get to it....I'm running late here myself. We're getting more snow....I hope the roads aren't all icy for those traveling home after the holidays.
Diane - Thanks for answering the question. I'm sure you are absolutely correct. Good to hear from you,.....blessings to all your good folks who leave comments...and also to those who just float by checking on the daily post.
Aspiring - Good to hear from you again. I hope all is going smooth and that you are well etc. Thank you for the blessings and you know I wish you the same.
Gardenia - No problem with that...I check back several times on an average day. I'm trying to get a few cards posted ahead of time and on those days I'm looking many times....I guess I could admit to being "my own best customer :-) I'm inserting a smile to show I'm trying to be funny.
To ALL who might check out the comments today. Please say a prayer for my oldest brother who lost his wife on Christmas Eve. Even though she had not been well, a staph infection, it was a shock. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteMicki, praying for your oldest brother who lost his wife.
ReplyDeleteGardenia - Thank you for your prayers. We can say our standard prayer "Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord....etc." but we so often forget to pray for the living who suffer too...so, God bless and thank you.
