"The word 'Rosary' means 'Crown of Roses,'
that is to say
that every time someone says the
Rosary devoutly,
they place a crown of one hundred fifty-three
red roses and sixteen white roses
upon the heads of Jesus and Mary.
Being heavenly roses they will never fade or lose their exquisite beauty."
Saint Louis Marie de Montfort
I am reading the author's famour book on the Rosary right now and it is a treasure.
ReplyDeletefamous - I mean't to type famous. :)
ReplyDeletethe card is so delicate and the verse so beautiful. St. Louis Marie de Montfort is one of the patron Saints of The Legion of Mary. If you are saying 15- 20 decades a week you should go online and join the Dominicans in the Confraternity of the Rosary - so many more prayers and rosaries are being said on our behalf.

Stephanie - And I always want to say how good it is for me to give all the praise back to Him who allows these artists, writers, and folks like us to continue to honor our Lord and His Holy Family this way. Thank you, we are never to stop praising Him.
