IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart........August 24
"Let Christ always abide in your heart by the fire of his love."
St. Peter Damian
French words mean: "Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, pray for us."
diddleymaz - Yes, that is our mother, sweet and tender. Thank you.
Catholic Mom of 10 - Yes, you are right. I just posted the card because she is our mother. I try to say "Feast of" when I'm doing a saint of the day. But not always, sometimes it makes the title too long.
I love this image - I've uploaded it for the blog with a link back to you. These are indeed windows to Heaven! Thank you and God Bless you and this beautiful online ministry, Micki!
givehimyourheart - Thank you. I'm always very happy to share my cards with other blogs...if we can get one extra person to lift their heart and mind to God we are good blog missionaries. I also added you to my side-bar links. Welcome.
