IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P
Nice modern image of Joseph and the Holy Infant! Lovely prayer too. Our Priest at mass preached a wonderful sermon on how the fatherhood of priests and of family fathers is a reflection of Gods fatherhood and how the 7 Sacrements are proof of this and a reflection of the Fathers loving concern for his people.Blessing and love Micki!

Love that quote!
ReplyDeleteAngela M. - Good to "see" you hear again. Missed you. I love the quote also because of the "fishing" reference to being a "keeper." :-)
