Animals, both small and great..
they all wait for thee
to give them their food in due season.
For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills. I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are mine. Praise the lord from the earth you great sea creatures…wild animals and cattle, small creatures and flying birds…let them praise the name of the Lord for His name alone is exalted; His splendor is above the earth and the heavens. Praise the Lord!
"Bonus es tu" may be a Latin translation of Psalm 199:68, which starts, "You are good/Thou art good."
Psalms 104:25, 27.

The posting and holy card for today is so touching, I love it. Thank you for posting this "Gem." A blessed day to all of your visitors! John K.
ReplyDeleteMarion - Oh you please me greatly writing about St. Joseph sending a grace to you, he is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteEaster - Yes, I know you have that musical sound in your home. How soothing that must be. We live in a wooded area so we have lots of birds all around us. The hummingbirds just showed up today for their spring/summer/fall visit.
John K. - You must be a "nature fella"........great to have a man enjoying this card with all its little creatures.
That's a really beautiful card. Makes one want to take a walk and stand in awe at God's creation. The verse from Psalms is really fitting.
ReplyDeleteparamedicgirl - That sounds like a wonderful plan....I'll join you on that walk.
