*Stars at Night with Mary and Jesus..........May 27

"You never think of Mary
without Mary thinking of God
on your behalf.
Neither do you ever praise and honor God
without Mary praising and honoring God
in union with you."

  1. Look at the tenderness with which Jesus is looking at Mary---what a beautiful holy card! Thankyou, Micki, for sharing!

  5. For reasons particular to this point in my spiritual 'evolution' this quote was very exciting to me when I read it this morning. Couldn't wait to (finally have time to) let you know :)! And also, to congratulate you on winning 'Best Visual' at the Canonball Blog Awards. Way to go, Micki. Yaaaay! As a celebrity now, I hope you'll remember me fondly... Haha! Vain though it may be, I take great pride in having nominated you and Kay - who (drum roll) were the top two in the race. I know 'good' when I encounter it, I'll tell ya (BIG smile)! God bless you.

  6. aspiring f.o.o.L. - I must admit that it pleases me that you found the quote "exciting." When I found it I thought that it was a quote our non-Catholic friends would maybe see and understand our love and devotion to Mary. She always leads us to her son.

Thank you for your nomination. It was a fun adventure. I'm so happy that it has caused so many others to come check out the blog. I'm humbled and grateful. Thank you.

  7. Beautiful!

I love all the cards you post, but I especially love the ones of Mary (I'm a kinda big fan of the BVM) ....

The quotation is beautiful, too -- may I steal it for my own blog sometime???
