IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Jesus Meets His Blessed Mother
"....and a sword will pierce your own soul too" (Lk.2)
Sweet Micki, What a beautiful picture! How our Sweet Blessed Mother must of felt seeing Jesus and His pain...Oh Sweet Mother we love you so much. Thank you Jesus for suffering for us and giving us Your Mother. Love & hugs, Prayerflowers
Prayerflowers - Are we not the luckiest to have Mary for our "Mother" too? I pray we can bring her joy rather than sorrow. Angel wings fluttering by you today I'm sure.
I added a prayer between the quote from Luke and the bottom prayer:
Oh Mother of Sorrows! Your Immaculate Heart was martyred with your Son! Make my heart gentle and steadfast, and in your sorrow, purify me, that my heart may be martyred with yours and bring souls to you so you may obtain salvation for them.
