IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

*Sacrament..........February 9
Two holy cards commemorating the receiving of two sacraments. First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
What is a sacrament?
A sacrament is an outward sign, instituted by Christ, to give grace.
Oh, Micki...what a breathtaking beauty you have so honored us with today! "Thank You" for allowing God's leadership in your life to help so many others. ~Peace & Joy~ Freda
Okay, I did it John's way and it worked, but it looks like that way, you can only do it one size. I'm thrilled with being able to do that and I'll make full-size books if I need to but it would be nice to be able to fit them into those little 4/6 photo books you get at craft stores. Micki, I'm pretty computer-disabled and I've never done anything with photoshop. This computer has MSN everything on it, and there's something called "Microsoft Picture It! Photo" but I don't know whether that can do anything?
Anonymous - Dear Freda, it is always just such a happy day for me to read your extremely kind words. We all do much to bring Him thanksgiving and love. May He bless us all.
Rebecca - I'm so delighted that your mom gave the final lesson in how to do what you want. I wish I could see some of the little "books" you make. Your children are very blessed to have you sharing your love. Thanks.

ReplyDeleteMicki,
ReplyDeleteMy mom figured out for me how to make it smaller once it's on the document, so I don't need any more help. This is great! Thanks again,
Rebecca
