IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P
Oh how beautiful this is! Little Jesus how I trust in Thee. This is my favorite site and the way I start every morning. Thank You! In the Three Most Loving Hearts
This card is truly outstanding, one of the best I've seen on your site Micki. Thank you so much for sharing these with us. I was wondering, would you happen to have a holy card of St. Edmund Martyr?
Micki, this holy card is BEAUTIFUL!! The words on the holy card are German, and it says, "The Christchild in the Host!" Jesus wishing to remain with us in the Blessed Eucharist and to dwell in our souls is something I still cannot totally understand, due to my limited intelligence. But I am continually grateful for this gift of love! Thank you dear Jesus for loving us unconditionally and for being our Joy!! John K.
lovestjoseph - Welcome to the "early bird who gets the worm"...except I hope it's really not the "worm" but something to feed you the rest of the day. Thank you.
Sanctus belle - Thank you for your kind compliment. I have a St. Edmund of East Anglia, King and Martyr ikon, an Edmund Ignatius Rice, CFC, and St. Edmund of Canterbury. If one of these is the one your looking for, email me with your email address and I'll send you a copy.
John K - Thank you again for your words of explanation. I guess we can't always understand but we can simply enjoy "faith". Thank you for your translation, I'll add it to the blog. Our good friend "John the Translator" will be back with us in a few more days. Thank you for your help.
..."Thank You"..."Thank You"..."Thank You...Micki for all your beautiful inspirational holy cards and quotes! I can never believe my eyes each day when I come for a visit with you and your many friends. Peace and joy to everyone! ~Freda~
