IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Effort..........October 8
We are responsible for the effort, not the outcome. We set the sail; God makes the wind.
French words… At the top: The boat of the holy Infant Jesus At the bottom: The angels guided the divine boat…but Jesus kept vigil…to pray and to bless!
Micki, this holy card is so beautiful!! What gives everything we do merit,is the love that is within our hearts. Every great thing started with a small step, if we surrender our lives to Jesus we know that we will never be lost for He is the Captain of our lives and will lead us to the Heavenly shores of the New Jerusalem. Jesus, when the storms of life are tossing us about may we find shelter and refuge in your Sacred Heart! A blessed day to all! John K.
Greetings to all! I have missed you (and Micki's cards) while away traveling for more than two weeks.
I just now had the privilege of looking at all the cards and comments from September 21 to the present. It took a long time, but it was worth it. Many (cards/comments) were beautiful and moving.
Here is a translation of the French words on today's card:
At the top: The boat of the holy Infant Jesus
At the bottom: The angels guided the divine boat ... but Jesus kept vigil ... to pray and to bless!
