IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

"Arm yourself with prayer rather than a sword; wear humility rather than fine clothes. "
hi, just found your site and wanted to say THANK YOU! such beautiful and unique cards i have never seen before. i will definitely be "stealing" your cards to use on message boards, in my journal and blogs, and to inspire others whenever possible.
by the way, i noticed you're in Indiana. i'll be flying out from California to visit the Franciscans of the Immaculate for the Assumption next week. Ave Maria!
Ed - And I just bet you are wearing one aren't you?
Johnnydigit - I'm so glad you "found" me. I hate to admit that I'm not familiar with the Franciscans of the Immaculate for the Assumption. Sounds like a wonderful organization though.
AF - I love the "Magnificat" magazine. Is this the one that has the daily Mass readings that everyone seems to have a copy of at daily Mass? How nice to hear that you treasure Dominican writintg so highly. Sounds great!
Micki, Wearing the medal of Saint Dominic with faith is a powerful defense against Satan.
