    Friends,

    "Sinite parvulos ..." is Latin for "Permit the little children ..." -- which you will recognize as words of Jesus to his disciples ("Let the little ones come to me").

    Welcome, Gina Elizabeth. Believe it or not, I used to know a Gina who had "OCDS" on her license plate. It refers to Secular (formerly Third Order) Carmelite, correct?

    I haven't heard that song in ages! I don't think it's Catholic but I do love it. It's MUCH better than a lot of the drek we hear from the "Gather" hymnal...erm....songbook.

    Yes, it does refer to the Secular Carmelite Order. Just became professed on Trinity Sunday and I love puting the initials after my name. Thanks for the translation.
