He is Waiting for You....June 20

"Nowhere on earth are you more welcomed,
no where on earth are you more loved,
than by Jesus,
living and truly present in the Most Blessed Sacrament... He is really there in person waiting just for you."

Mother Teresa of Calcutta

[At the top:] The pause on the journey -- or the daily visit.
[At the bottom:] It is only there that my heart is at rest. Everything is taken away from my sight before that tabernacle. If someone were to ask me, "Where is your happiness?" -- I would answer, "Look! Jesus, through a miracle, has placed His home in the midst of my exile."

  2. Hello dearest Micki,
I am due for a visit, that's for sure :-). I had a quick visit a few days ago, but not the same when you stay with him for at least 30 minutes. What a great comfort Christ's presence is in the Blessed Sacrament.

BTW I finally got to post your picture. Thank you and much love to you.

A joyful weekend to you and all your wonderful readers.

  4. Micki,

Did you realize that you featured this card on May 19?

But that's OK, because it deserves more than one day.

(A translation can be found at the May 19 posting.)

  5. Nothing can compare to being in front of His living, breathing, presence. How blessed are we who are able to sit with Him for awhile. I've never posted a comment before but I love your Holy Cards and your words of inspiration. I go each Friday to Eucharistic Adoration and I am so blessed each time I take that time to spend with Him.

  6. Oh, if only all Catholics truly believed in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist!! He is our Treasure! Let us ask Jesus Eucharist to touch the hearts of those who do not believe and draw them to Himself.

  7. This image and Mother Teresa's expression go so very well together, Mickie. You do a wonderful job matching words and images. I'd be just awful because from so many, I'd never be able to make a decision for each day, or any day! I'd probably have to pile everything into one post! HaHa! Well, maybe not, but I'd sure have a hard time deciding what to put in and what to match up. Again, great job, truly, and I know I'm only one of many who think so.

  9. Prayerflowers - Oh what a blessed experience you had. I pray there will be more with even stronger results.

Easter - Thank you for showing my computer desk....I'm honored to pray for Fr. Sousa. Great blog for our priests.

Diane - What a nice thought..."to give our hearts entirely to Him"...I love that.

John - Let's just blame that on a "senior moment." Wonder how many recognized that it was a repeat? :-)

Anonymous - What a vision you paint saying "living, breathing presence" I love that. I also go on Fridays. We are so blessed.
I'm glad you found me and hope you continue to comment.

Judy K - Thank you for being a first time commentor also. I agree with you and that is one of my prayers...for more to see Him in the Eucharist.

Friend of Our Lord - Thank you. I do try hard to match up pictures and words. After over 550 pictures posted I do find it harder and harder. Glad you appreciate it. Also, Micki is not a proper name so anyway you spell it is acceptable :-)
