IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Tears, Good Friday of the Lord's Passion
I am so very grateful to Esther for her reminder that today starts the Novena for Divine Mercy which is available here .
God longs for the tears of criminals; He thirsts for the tears of sinners.
Micki, the most poignant of cards during this triduum period of our Lord - thank you. I stop by your site from time to time to enjoy reading your visitors comments and to enjoy the cards - very inspirational for a new elect on my journey hoping to participate in the sacrament for the first time tomorrow. For anyone interested you can view online The Passion enacted in series: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/page/item/b009kcs6.shtml?src=ip_potpw
Wow, what a card and thought...I posted the quote to my LampStand website at http://www.lampstandfoundation.org/guidingprinciples.html ...so appropriate.
Thanks again for finding and posting these wonderful thoughts and cards.
The perfect card to gaze on in meditation today. Just look at the sorrow on Mary's face. Thankyou, Micki, also for the wonderful quote today which gives hope for each and every one of us.
Karl, I come here to gaze upon the loveliness of God through Micki's beautiful Holy Cards. I am so happy to "see" you here. I will have special prayers for you this Easter Triduum, especially today as our church celebrates the passion and death of Jesus, and claim his victory for you. I am so glad I came today, dear brother in Christ. I await good news from you.
Dearest Micki, My love to you this Easter Triduum and prayers as well. In my morning walk today, I remembered you and I smiled.
Karl - I will be keeping you in prayer tomorrow evening and asking our Lord to welcome you for all of us here in blogdom. Grace upon grace is coming your way.
I tried to see the Passion you suggested but it said that it is only available to UK people. :-(
David - We remember all those in jails, guilty and innocent every Tuesday morning in my Prayer Group. Thank you for visiting here.
D.S. - Yes, "sorrow" is the word for today....hard to imagine the day being called "Good."
J - Thank you for calling on our "Sorrowful Mother"...so often her agony is forgotten.
Easter - Thank you again for making me "smile" too. Such good "unseen" friends here on the blogs.
My daughter and I will be off to London tomorrow for a few days staying with friends. I will miss looking in on my beloved holy card site and the uplifting inspiration it gives me, but I wish you all the most blessed of Easters. My Very Best Regards, Lynneda
Thank you for the reminder and the link to the Divine Mercy Novena. I continue to be uplifted daily by your beautiful cards and posts. I wish you and all the most blessed Easter.
Lynneda - Thank you for your message. Have a wonderful holiday with your daughter. Say "hello" to Big Ben. Wishing you a blessed Easter also. Come back rested.
Anonymous - I'm glad to have been reminded of the message myself that the Novena started on Good Friday. Thank you for your best wishes. Prayers go out for you too to have a blessed Easter.
Lynneda, if you ever get to read this before your go, know that you are in my thoughts and prayers, my dearest friend! Have a fabulous vacation and continue to shine with God's love and joy! Much love to you, Easter
