IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

King of Heaven
"The sovereigns of the earth do not always grant audience readily;
on the contrary, the King of Heaven, hidden under the eucharistic veils, is ready to receive anyone..."

I've been enjoying your blog for awhile via google reader. You have a wonderful collection of holy cards and this card is especially beautiful. Every detail sends the eye back to the eucharist. I especially love the alter boys strewing the roses.
I agree with bobbie, Micki, every detail does send the eye back to the eucharist, and the altar boys are fabulous! The detail is astounding - an astonishing card, as always. Thank you. Best Regards, Lynneda
Bobbie - Welcome. Thank you. I like to think of these cards as "God's Family Album." This is a new image for me and I agree that the eye is just drawn in with all the detail.
Lynneda - Isn't it fun to see how everyone feels about the art shown? Praise God for artists.
Prayerflower - Thank you for emailing me. I don't know why your second one didn't come through. I love how you put the card on your site. It is a beautiful site and I've added you to my links.
