IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

What Matters?.........January 5
All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
Here is the meaning of the French words. "O my Mother,
One can see love in your holy card. Yesterday, we were told to love the unloveable. One probably doesn't get much credit for loving those that are easy to love. Tough assignment! I googled 'love the unloveable'. 112,000 entries! I now believe that He is online.
So beautiful. Thank you always, Micki, for being willing to share these with us. It's amazing how such simple things can be so inspirational, but... they are.
Mary Lou - I can't believe those numbers. Obviously we all agree about being easy to love those we care for. Maybe that's the answer, we have to "care" for those hard to love. You brings smile to me just thinking that HE is "online". Now I have to go check my email to see if HE sent me a message.....Yup, He said "Love."
Gardenia - Yes, I think the faces are softly beautiful too.
Clare Marie-Therese Duroc - You bring me joy knowing the cards do inspire you.
Such a beautiful holy card! Thankyou, Micki!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful holycard....Thanks for sharing each and every day. JMJ~Lisa S.
