"We shall steer safely through every storm,
as long as our heart is right,
our intention fervent,
our courage steadfast,
and our trust fixed in God."
St. Francis de Sales

Jesus Calms the Storm
He got into a boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a violent storm came up on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by waves; but he was asleep. They came and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We are perishing!" He said to them, "Why are you terrified, O you of little faith?" Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was great calm. The men were amazed and said, "What sort of man is this, whom even the winds and the sea obey?" The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"

There is a wonderful victorian hymn
"Will your anchor hold in the storms of life?" or also "Lead us Heavenly Father, lead us o'er the worlds tempestous seas"
Guard us, guide us, keep us ,feed us
For we have no help but thee
Friends,
The French words mean, "O Jesus, God of love, I trust in you. Save me from sinking."
