"For I am a merciful Mother to thee and to all thy fellow people on this earth who love me and trust me and invoke my help. I listen to their lamentations and solace all their suffering..........."
Words spoken to Juan Diego from the Blessed Virgin Mary

I have not seen this holy card before, our dear Micki. It is beautiful! What is most significant to me though is the look on the face of Juan Diego - it is how many of us look when God sends us on a mission: nervous and unsure; and then we smile but it is a "nervous" smile. Only with God's grace do we become accustomed to God's call, and then slowly and surely, we discover the joy that comes with that call. God be praised!
Thank you, dear Micki! (Thanks to you it looks like I have done my meditation for today and it's only 4 a.m. he he he...) Love to you!
that is a beautiful holy card!
I love the message left by Easter A. Thank you for allowing us to leave our own thoughts and to be touched by the messages left by our "fellow travelers" in this land of exile. Thank you Micki for your apostalate, you are touching many lives. May Jesus and Our Lady keep you and all who visit your site! John K.
What a beautiful and unusual card. I've never seen it before either. I also love Easter's comment, so true. And I second what John K. said.
Thanks Micki for bringing us these treasures.

Easter - How interesting to have you see the "fear" in Juan Diego's eyes. Yes, I believe we show our fear....makes the meaning of "trust" so important. Always pleased to help with your meditation :-)
Marilena - Thank you for your comment and your compliment.
Josef_63 - I enjoy and am touched also by messages from others. Thank you all. Blessings to you John.
He Gently Calls Us - Not an old card, I guess you can see it was from 1983... Then again if you were born in 1982 you might think it is an old card....haha
