The German words mean this:
"Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God."
There is an error in the scriptural citation. The words are actually from Matthew 5:8, not 5:3 as stated on the card.

My middle name is Anthony and Saint Anthony is my Patron saint.
His intercession for us before God is very powerful.
Each day visiting this site,viewing the holy cards and reading all the information is a wonderful devotional. I have learned so much and appreciate everyones input.

Beautiful picture of St. Anthony he is one of my favorite saints.
I have missed you...I was not doing well but I think I am on my way back up. A medication that I was taking for a month in a half effected my lungs and esophagus.
