IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

Hey there, welcome back! I hope you had a wonderful trip. Thanks for turning the comments back on. I've missed them.
This card is stunning and the text that is posted is even more beautiful. Did you notice that the card was printed at Orleans? --straight from the heart of Joan's real experience.
I wish we had someone like St. Joan ready to be a leader today. Where is St. Joan when we need her?
Thanks again.
Kay
Our dearest Micki,
Hugs and kisses to you, dearest one! Yes, we have all missed you and the love that comes with these holy cards. Welcome back! :-)
Micki, you know that my husband's favorite saint is Joan of Arc. I sent him through email Kay's and now this one. Yes, this is just a beautiful! He will be thrilled!
"Where is St. Joan when we need her?" Kay, my husband said the exact same thing!
Love to you both and to everyone!
Easter:-)
p.s. John, thanks for all your interpretations!
Beautiful holy card to commemorate St. Joan's Feast day. Here is a page that also celebrates Joan of Arc's Feast Day Cheers!
Kay and Easter - Thank you for being the first to comment since I turned it back on. I'm going to pray my spammer stays away since I put letter identification on.
Kay, I didn't notice about the card being printed in Orleans...thanks for pointing that out. What a wonderful comment regarding "where is St. Joan when we need her?" Made me nod my head and also smile...we do know where she is...we just need to call on her.
Easter - what a wonderful saint for your husband to be close to. I'm sure she is blessing him with a special blessing today.
Welcome back, Mic(Es)ki(mo)!
Thanks to you and Easter A for the kind words about the translations.
John
John - Love my hidden "eskimo". You are so funny. And to think I pictured you as always so "proper."
Thank you for all your translations...you add so much to these holy cards. God bless you.
