Our greatest Cross is the fear of crosses.
St. John Vianney
IMAGO SACRA MILLE GRATIARUM VALET. ("A holy picture is worth a thousand graces")................... This blog is a means to show some of my holy card collection along with some interesting thoughts and inspirations. "....artists have the privilege in the Church and throughout history, to open up so that people can see the mystery of God. The artist speaks, not just literally, but symbolically. Visual images, if well done, can move us. That's a ministry." Quote from Brother Michael Moran, C.P

What an endearing holy card and that quote from St. John Vianney--the truth so succinctly said! Thankyou as always, Micki, for sharing.

Oh, this card is so pretty, Micki, and the quote is wonderful too. Simple, clear, true - enough said!

Hello dear Micki!
I just love that picture of baby Jesus sleeping, though not truly sleeping, for in that picture he invites us to come to him. I find that interesting. Maybe it is we who think that he is asleep at times and that he doesn't seem to hear us, when in fact, Jesus is ever constant in his invitation to have us all come to him.
Hmmmm... fascinating!
Thanks dear Micki! Love you!
I love the holy card's picture. Do you know of a picture of child Jesus sweeping out the heart? I saw it when Wendy Wright spoke at a retreat, and I've always wanted a copy! Please let me know if you know of this lovely image.
Easter - You make me want to come running right now. Thanks.
Jan - I sent you an email, hope you get it.
Ha ha ha... Micki, you are so cute and funny! Thank you. I do come back to read all your comments. I am very grateful; I am sure the others are too! :-)
Hugs,
