When I first started blogging I had no idea what my focus would be. Unlike Chelsey, our standard poodle, who had her focus on keeping us safe from the outside world. That’s why I named the blog The Window Shows it All. I later decided sharing my holy card collection would be my goal and that’s why my computer address is not Holy Cards for Inspiration.

I have seen this rendition of the Holy Face (Veronica's veil) many times, but never with the red highlights, which make such a difference.
The German words mean this ...
"O Lord ... let your face shine upon us, that we may be saved."
The words come from verse 8 of Psalm 80. (The card, using the alternate psalm-numbering system, refers to "Ps. 79,8" in the lower right corner.)
