You were missed and I'm sure those wondering where you were will be so pleased to read what you were doing.
What a blessing to be in Fatima on Mary's anniversary. I know you said a prayer for all of us and I know Mary will give you her choicest blessings and hugs.
A three-hour Mass proably went faster than we can imagine. I can't imagine that crowd and the feeling of actually being there.
Again, welcome back to our favorite "translator."Mickihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04362052610142449121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34135544.post-27097471814993175042009-05-19T14:03:00.000-04:002009-05-19T14:03:00.000-04:00Hi, Micki.

Today's, because it is such a stunningly beautiful variant on the (divinely painted) image of Guadalupe.
2. That of May 13, the feast of Our Lady of Fatima.

I know that you are not surprised by my mentioning #2, since you know that I have been away from home so that I could visit Fatima itself -- on May 13, the 92nd anniversary of Mary's first apparition of the three shepherd children. It was an almost indescribably beautiful experience!

I arrived at 9:45 a.m. to find the plaza (twice as large as that at St. Peter's Basilica) filled with several hundred thousand pilgrims -- just before a three-hour Mass that began with a thirty-minute procession, including scores of devotees carrying decorated banners, hundreds of concelebrating priests and bishops, and the famous statue of Our Lady (shown at the site that you linked on May 13). I wish that you and all of your visitors could have been there.

Thank you for welcoming me home by letting me see so many gorgeous new cards and meaningful messages.
JohnAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34135544.post-44321711905128329452009-05-19T13:15:00.000-04:002009-05-19T13:15:00.000-04:00wife, mother and so much more - I love it also...I...wife, mother and so much more - I love it also...I pray she will help change some peoples way of thinking.

Diane - Yes dear friend, we are in some dangerous times. I'm sure she is pleased to be there for you in all the ways possible. I have a statue of the modonna in my little patio that faces my little home. La Virjen helps me feel safe and protected as I live alone. She is the first thing I see in the morning and the last before I go to bed at nite.

Thanks MickiAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34135544.post-48330472056243545502009-05-19T11:28:00.000-04:002009-05-19T11:28:00.000-04:00What a powerful holy card for the time wwe are in ...What a powerful holy card for the time wwe are in where the unborn child is at such risk in this culture of death.
