Road to Heaven

"There are different roads to heaven.
There is innocence, but that is for children.
There is penance, but we shy away from that.
There is the acceptance of trials that heaven sends us, but we ask to be freed from them.
For adults the surest way to heaven
is frequent, fervent communion. "

Fr. Manton - "A View from the Steeple"

The card is just lovely, Micki. I also love the quote from Fr. Manton. I have two of his books that have
chapters that are appropriate for daily reading. It is
very approachable reading and yet at the same time so spiritually edifying. Thankyou again for all you do
which brings such spiritual joy to all of us out here
in the land of blog!

Fr Manton's words are inspiringly lovely Micki, as is the card. A favourite theme of mine, as you know, Jesus tending/ministering to children - wonderful. And the colours of the angels' garments are fabulous. Thank you.
Best Regards, Lynneda

D.S. - So happy to discover another soul who loves Fr. Manton.

Lynneda - You are such a joy and appreciator of the talent of these artists. Do you paint or draw yourself?

Micki, I write; and break/school/compete horses (dressage and eventing) for a living. My daughter is a wonderful little artist at only 8, and my younger sister draws beautifully. Me? I couldn't draw to save my bacon - so I have a strong and deep admiration for anyone who can.

Best Regards, Lynneda
